By submitting this form, I acknowledge that:

  1. I am physically and mentally able to participate in the Tel Shaddud Excavation and acknowledge that there are certain risks involved in such activities.
  2. I will be insured under a valid medical insurance policy throughout the entire span of my excavation period, and I confirm that my medical insurance covers any damage that I may be subjected to as a result of my presence on an archaeological site.
  3. In the event of an emergency in which I, or my emergency contact, cannot be reached, I authorize the directors and head administrative staff of the excavation to make medical decisions for me and to administer first aid if deemed necessary.
  4. I hereby consent to the participation in interviews, the use of quotes, and the taking of photographs, movies, or any form of visual and sound media. I also grant the Tel Shaddud excavation the right to edit, use, and reuse said products for use, including in print, on the internet, and all other forms of media.

How Much Does Participation Cost?

Participation at Tel Shaddud is priced at 4,000 NIS per week*, which includes:

Accommodation (Sun–Fri)Rooms shared between 3–4 people with en-suite bathrooms
AmenitiesLounge area, bed linens, towels & WiFi
All mealsSunday dinner through Friday lunch
TransportationTo and from the excavation site
Guest lecturesFrom leading scholars in the field

This fee does not cover flights to Israel. We also strongly recommend acquiring personal travel insurance and verifying your passport requirements for entering Israel before booking. Invoices will be sent out in May and include full payment details. We currently accept credit card, bank transfer, and check.

Cancellation Policy

We completely understand that circumstances can change and make it necessary to cancel. Cancellation terms vary depending on the timing:

Before June 1stFull refund, minus a 180 NIS registration and banking fee.
After June 12thFull refund, minus a 700 NIS cancellation fee per week and a 180 NIS registration and banking fee.
During the season, or without announcementNo refund.
